Beginning in 2026, Connecticut no longer uses traditional counties to determine conforming and FHA loan limits. Loan limits are now based on the property’s Planning Region.

 

When looking up a specific town, do not search for the county. Search for the town’s Planning Region instead. For example, searching “Andover, Connecticut Planning Region” will show that Andover is located in the Capitol Planning Region.

 

Once you identify the correct Planning Region, match it to the tables below to find the applicable conforming or FHA loan limits.
